Welcome to the Malumnet website. In this lesson, we will discuss how to protect yourself from being hacked, as well as understanding the methods and techniques that hackers use to hack your phone and steal all your personal files. Grab a cup of tea and read the explanation with me to the end.
What methods do hackers use?
First: Hacking wireless networks
It is one of the most important methods used by hackers to compromise devices. It uses advanced tactics to penetrate public wireless networks, exploiting unencrypted connections to carry out man-in-the-middle attacks between the person and the client and spy on information between the phone and the network.
Second: Malicious Apps and Fake Programs
Hackers can introduce malicious apps onto your phone through seemingly legitimate programs or games. However, these programs are designed to spy and steal your personal data. This intrusion occurs due to the presence of a virus within the app, which the hacker runs and controls remotely using specific protocols.
Third: Phishing
This involves sending links containing a malicious virus designed to deceive you, hack your phone, and obtain your photos and personal files, such as passwords and credit card numbers.
Is my device hacked or not?
To ensure your device hasn't been hacked or compromised by a hacker, your phone should not have some of the following:
1) Heavy battery drain: If you notice a significant decrease in battery life for no apparent reason, this may be an indication of programs running in the background that are consuming power.
2) Slow phone performance: Running malicious programs can slow your phone's performance due to the consumption of memory and processing resources.
3) Unexpected pop-up ads: The appearance of ads or pop-up windows indicates a security vulnerability and may indicate a malware infection.
How to protect your phone from hacking?
1) Keep your operating system up-to-date: There are security vulnerabilities exploited by hackers that are discovered and fixed by the phone manufacturer, so you should check your phone's software regularly.
2) Use antivirus applications: You need to download antivirus software, as it provides enhanced protection by scanning your phone frequently, detecting malicious applications, and alerting you.
3) Download applications from trusted websites and official stores.
